¿HAS VISTO ESTA REVISTA ESPAÑOLA DEL MONSTRUO?

Have you seen this Spanish monster magazine? EL BUQUE MALDITO has been around for a while, twenty-six issues to be exact, and looks to be an excellent homage to horror films, with a little extra attention given to the European variety. The title is inspired by one of the films in the Blind Dead series, THE GHOST GALLEON (THE DAMNED SHIP).

Here's a look at what's inside the latest issue (#26), translated from their webpage:

THE DAMNED SHIP # 26 Now available!

We focus much of its content in the chronicles of the Cryptshow Festival 2016, SITGES - 49th International Festival of Cinema Fantàstic of Catalonia and XXVII Week of Fantastic Film and Terror of San Sebastián.

The story of SITGES 2016 is accompanied by interviews with Rob Zombie & Sheri Moon ( 31, The Lords of Salem ), Luigi Cozzi ( Blood on Méliès Moon ), AD Calvo ( Sweet, sweet lonely girl ) , Jeremy Gillespie & Steven Kostanski ( The Void ), Victor Dryere ( 1974 ), Emiliano Rocha ( We have the meat ), Anna Biller ( The Love Witch, Viva ), Barbara Crampton ( Beyond the Gates, Re-Animator ) and Terele Pávez ( The Day of the Beast, The Witches of Zugarramurdi ).

Apart from the festival activity we included the articles The Void, praise of the artisan terror , located in the film of Jeremy Gillespie & Steven Kostanski , and The Mexican Renaissance. The new dimension of cosmic horror , about the new outbreak of the fantastic made in Mexico.
